Rates, risks and a big rethink: The new fixed income playbook

As the post-GFC period of dormant inflation fades into the rear-view mirror, bond volatility is being driven by interest rates rather than credit risk. This session explores overlooked opportunities in fixed income and examines how flexible interest rate risk management and broader credit capabilities could help investors capture uncorrelated returns. It also considers what heightened bond volatility means for the build-versus-buy debate and what an unconstrained approach really looks like in the current environment.

Europe Rewired: Investing in a New Era of Resilience

Europe Unconstrained

Europe is rebuilding its energy, supply chains and defence architecture. As the continent shifts from dependence towards resilience - rearming, reshoring and rewiring - we see an attractive investment opportunity, particularly in undervalued small and mid-cap companies that could benefit from fiscal expansion, supply-chain reshoring and the potential reconstruction of Ukraine.
