Carlos de Sousa joined Vontobel in January 2021. He is Emerging Markets Strategist and Portfolio Manager within Vontobel Fixed Income. Carlos was previously Lead Emerging Markets Economist at Oxford Economics, a leading organization in global forecasting and quantitative analysis. Prior to that, he was a research fellow at Bruegel in Brussels, and also economist at Ecoanalitica in Caracas, where he was responsible for macroeconomic forecasts for his native Venezuela, Caribbean and Central America. Carlos holds a Master’s degree in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Economics, from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Head of Global Aggregate Bonds within the Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) group. Based in London, he is a portfolio manager focusing on multi-sector bond strategies for both segregated and pooled funds. He has 23+ years of experience managing interest rate, credit, securitized, volatility and foreign exchange rate risks in global portfolios. Myles joins from Amundi, where he was Head of the Global Aggregate Fixed Income team. Before joining Amundi, Myles spent 8 years as a portfolio manager at PIMCO, where he led the firm's Eurozone sovereign and macro strategy, and sat on the regional European investment committee. He also worked at Threadneedle Investment Managers, managing global and sterling portfolios. Myles started his career in 1996 as an economist at HM Treasury in London, before moving into asset management with M&G Investments. He holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and is a CFA charterholder.

Michel Kageshima, CFA, is a Director and Portfolio Strategist in European Retail Client Management supporting the development of PGIM Fixed Income’s subadvisory capabilities and UCIT platform. Prior to this role, Mr. Kageshima was responsible for providing client management services to PGIM Fixed Income's European sub-advisory and hedge fund clients, based in London.

Jack co-manages Artemis' Global High Yield Bond, Short-Dated Global High Yield Bond, High Income and Short-Duration Strategic Bond strategies, plus the bond element of Artemis' Monthly Distribution strategy. Jack joined Artemis in June 2019 from Aegon Asset Management, where he co-managed a range of high-yield bond funds and was involved in the management of the strategic bond strategy. Before that, he was an investment analyst at Standard Life Investments. Jack began his career as an economist at Cambridge Econometrics after graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a first-class honours degree in economics. He is a CFA charterholder.
